Ottawa Farmers Markets
Lansdowne Farmers Market
The only year-round farmers market in Ottawa, the Ottawa Farmers Market at Lansdowne is the place to go for fresh local products. What makes this market so unique is the vetting process for vendors; only locally-sourced products from within a 100 km distance of Ottawa are offered, so you know your food is farm fresh.
During the outdoor market season, peruse the summer stalls for sweet Ontario strawberries, freshly picked seasonal veggies, late summer corn, and baskets of crisp fall apples. During the winter months the market heads inside the historic Aberdeen Pavillion, but the selection of local products is still plentiful. Stock up on locally-roasted coffee, hand-crafted chocolate, baked goods, sweet maple syrup and honey, fun finds from local makers and artisans, plus onsite food vendors to keep your shopping trip fueled.
