Ottawa Christmas Market

Ottawa’s biggest and most well-known Christmas market, the Ottawa Christmas Market at Aberdeen Square at Landsdowne Park is one of the city’s best. Stroll through the beautifully decorated European-style market, complete with wooden chalets, a spectacular Christmas tree, twinkly lights and plenty of festive photo ops. Shop for unique gifts from over 60 vendors, enjoy live music and entertainment, festive food and drink (including boozy holiday favourites), family-friendly activities and meet and greets with Santa.

Canadian Museum of History Christmas Market

A favourite among local and visitors on both side of the Ottawa River is the Christmas Market at the Canadian Museum of History. Venture into the festively decorated Grand Hall and browse over 100 vendors for holiday gifts including artisan jewelry, unique handicrafts, Christmas décor, woodworking creations, edible goodies and cool stocking stuffers.

Adàwàning: Indigenous Women’s Art Market

Support local Indigenous women artisans and pick up unique gifts for the holidays at the Adàwàning: Indigenous Women’s Art Market at the National Arts Centre. Browse beadwork, moccasins, crafts, paintings, sculptures and jewelry from Métis, Inuit and First Nations makers, while learning about Indigenous traditions and cultures through art.

Originals Christmas Craft Sale

A staple on the Christmas shopping circuit since 1974, the Originals Christmas Craft Sale is not to be missed. Shop from a whopping 200+ artisans, designers, makers, producers and artists from across Canada for body care, ceramics, jewelry, artisan crafts, clothing, home décor, food, drink and more. Don’t miss the Sip and Shop event on Friday December 12th and enjoy a festive holiday drink from a local craft alcohol producer while you shop (included in your ticket price).

Glebe Craft and Artisan Fair

A holiday tradition in the neighbourhood of the Glebe for over 40 years, the Glebe Craft and Artisan Fair is great place to shop for locally made holiday arts and crafts. Find a unique piece of art, handmade jewelry, homemade soaps and candles, woodcrafts, clothing, and tasty holiday treats.

Christmas Farmers Market – the Log Farm

Annual Holiday Market at Robert Plante Greenhouses

One of the most well-known Greenhouses in the Ottawa Region hosts their Annual Holiday Market each November in their tropical greenhouses. With over 200 local artisans and vendors, you can shop for everyone on your list from arts, crafts, food and drink, plus pick up some great holiday décor or lush plants to bring home. This even is pet-friendly for dogs on leash.

Christmas at Mādahòkì – Indigenous Craft Market

Sandy Hill One & Only Arts and Craft Fair

Organized by the Sandy Hill Community Association and Action Sandy Hill, the One & Only Arts and Craft Fair is the place to go to shop for Christmas, all while supporting the community. Browse cool arts and crafts from over 30 local vendors in a festive atmosphere, and for those who love reading you won’t want to miss the annual Good Book Sale. Funds raised from the event support work in the community by Action Sandy Hill and local youth and arts organizations
