With discounts on museums, galleries, VIA Rail and Parks Canada admission and accommodations, this is a fantastic initiative which will help Canadians explore their own backyards, attract visitor from abroad, and help support local businesses along the way.
What is the Canada Strong Pass
The Canada Strong Pass is a program provides discounts and free admission to Canadian residents and international visitors during the summer of 2025. The pass is available from June 20 – September 2, 2025, and can be used as many times as you like.
How do you get the Canada Strong Pass
There is not an actual Canada Strong Pass or physical/virtual card you need to obtain. The discounts are already waiting for you when booking, or at your final destination.
How do you use the Canada Strong Pass
For visits to museums, galleries you can redeem your discount directly at the box office upon arrival. Many museums also allow you to purchase your tickets at the Canada Strong Pass discounted rate online, allowing you to secure a timeslot for your visit in advance.
Parks Canada will provide free admission at the gate, while accommodation booking will be applied when booking on the phone or online. VIA rail discounts will be applied at the time of purchase.

The Canada Strong Pass is available to all Canadian residents as well as international visitors.

Save big this summer when travelling with the kids. With the Canada Strong Pass you receive free admission for children and teens under 17 years of age, and a 50% discount for those 18 to 24.
