Marie Antoinette & Co.

Located beside Tinsel Town Christmas Emporium, Marie Antoinette & co. is a store full of whimsical trinkets and wonderful tea party fantasy. Vintage-style bird cages, delicate tea sets, plus Victorian-inspired home decor make it the perfect place to shop when accessorizing a room, or adding elegant touches around the house. It's also a great place to pick up gifts, favours or decor for a bridal shower or birthday party with fragrant potpourris, unique soaps and lotions, and amazing decorative items like ceramic butterfly coasters, ornate candle holders and elegant linens.

Maker House

Maker House is a unique Ottawa store carrying a variety of hand-made goods from Canadian makers and local Ottawa artisans. As a gift for someone else, or for some unique accessories to spice up your own home, there are plenty of fun items to choose from. The Record Centre

If you love vinyl or have a love for music, then the Record Centre is your spot! Located right on Wellington St., the Record Centre sells both new and used vinyl records in numerous genres, including rock, jazz, blues, classical, country, punk, metal, reggae/ska, folk and more! They also have a constantly rotating selection of vintage audio equipment including turntables, receivers, integrated amps and speakers.

World of Maps

World travellers and anyone with a sense of adventure will love World of Maps. They have a huge selection of globes, from modern and monochromatic to wooden and vintage pieces, as well as mini-globes perfect for a cozy home office. If you're looking for a wall map there is an endless selection, from topographical prints, to large framed maps of the world, sure to make a statement in any home. They also have an amazing selection of travel books and accessories, as well as more practical road and city maps.

A Curated Nest

A Curated Nest is a hidden gem in Wellington West, and is a must-stop if you’re looking for something special. Owned by Ottawa artists Christina Lovisa and Judith Anderson, the cozy boutique is packed with beautiful home décor, eclectic jewelry and stunning pieces of original art. Their vintage and upcycled items are definitely worth a browse, as well as their selection of candles, essential oils and bath and body products.



Wild Willy’s Plants and Flowers

Plant lovers will want to make a stop at Wild Willy's Plants and Flowers near the corner of Wellington St. and Holland Ave. With a diverse selection of tropical house plants, succulents, air plants and cacti, you're sure to find something to fit your home. They also have a beautiful fresh-cut flowers; pick up a pre-arranged bouquet, or personalize something with blooms of your choosing. The staff are both friendly and well versed in botany, and can help anyone from the avid botanist to the plant beginner.

Hintonburg Pottery

Known for their fun pottery classes and in-house workshops, Hintonburg Pottery is a great spot for exquisite ceramic art. All pieces are one-of-a-kind, made in-house, and include beautiful mugs and bowls, as well as more interesting items like butter dishes, salt shakers, yarn bowls, wine coolers, and decorative vases. If you prefer to test your own skills, sign up for one of their many pottery classes including beginner wheel throwing, hand-building, drawing on clay or get imaginative with their whimsical creations workshop.

Kindred Shop and Studio

If you love jewelry and fashion, then a stop at Kindred Shop and Studio is a must. Choose from a selection of beautifully Canadian-made jewelry, from dainty necklaces and chunky rings, to funky earrings made from woven coloured string. The owner of the store, Tamara Steinborn from Ottawa, has her own beautiful collection of jewelry sold in store, and many other local artists from the Ottawa area are represented. Apart from the amazing jewelry you'll also find a selection of women's apparel and accessories, fun mugs and candles, body lotions and balms, as well as herbal teas.

Stubbe Chocolates

Stubbe Chocolates is the oldest family-owned business in the Ottawa Valley with over 6 generations of chocolate making experience. First established in northern Germany in 1845, the Stubbe family continue to whip up delicious chocolate creations over 175 years later. Some not-to-miss items are their delicious selection of boozy truffles in flavours like champagne, Kir Royale or Grand Marnier, as well as a variety of hand-crafted bars in classic flavours, including unique ones like raspberry pistachio in ruby chocolate, or blueberry in white chocolate.

St Vincent de Paul

For those who love a good bargain and an enjoyable treasure hunt, St Vincent de Paul is a great place to shop. From vintage jewelry and clothes, to books, DVDs, games, sporting equipment, lamps and electronics, there is an endless selection of unique finds at great prices. Their housewares section is particularly good, with a huge selection of glassware, dishes and vases at amazing prices; the majority of items are under $5. Keep your eyes peeled for unique items as they rotate in and out of the store, and you could even find yourself a medieval knight's helmet!

A year-round Christmas haven, the Tinsel Town Christmas Emporium is the place to go to get in the festive spirit at any time of year. Choose from elegant decor for entertaining, fun quirky pieces, and even vintage-inspired items.
